The DIYC International Youth Congress 2024, held on the 3rd and 4th of February 2024 in Johor Bahru, marked a pivotal moment in the journey towards a more inclusive and harmonious future. Under the theme "Malaysia Madani Through Diversity & Inclusion Lens," the event brought together youth from across Malaysia and around the globe to engage in meaningful dialogue, share experiences, and spark change.

The first day of the Congress was filled with enlightening panel discussions, comprising six sessions covering a wide array of topics. From Youth Empowerment to Gender Equality, Mental Health & Wellness, Socioeconomic Challenges, Digitalization & AI, and Ethnic Diversity, each session provided a platform for attendees to explore pressing issues and brainstorm solutions. The vibrant exchange of ideas underscored the importance of embracing diversity and inclusion as catalysts for positive societal change.

The momentum continued into the second day with a dynamic forum where participants delved deeper into the themes discussed during the panel sessions. The forum served as a catalyst for collaboration, sparking new initiatives and partnerships aimed at driving tangible progress in communities. The highlight of the day was the closing ceremony, graced by esteemed guests Datuk Seri Shamsul Iskandar bin Mohd Akin, Senior Political Secretary to the Malaysian Prime Minister, and YAB Dato' Seri Anwar Bin Ibrahim. Their presence underscored the significance of youth leadership in shaping Malaysia's future and advancing the Malaysia Madani vision.

As the DIYC International Youth Congress 2024 draws to a close, we embark on a collective journey towards a more inclusive and harmonious future. Empowered by the diverse voices and perspectives shared during the Congress, participants are inspired to champion change in their communities and beyond. United by our shared commitment to creating a society where every individual is heard, respected, and empowered, we look forward to translating our discussions into impactful action. This Congress marks not just the end of an event but the beginning of a transformative journey for DIYC, from Johor to Malaysia, to ASEAN, and the rest of the world. Together, we can build a brighter future grounded in diversity, inclusion, and mutual respect.
