DIYC Business Plan Challenge 2023

The DIYC Movement has always highlighted entrepreneurship as a central thematic focus for its programs and events. In 2021, the Movement hosted its COVID-19 Business Startup Challenge as an initiative geared towards encouraging the youth to harness their entrepreneurial ambitions. Overall, it was an opportunity for university students to propose and start their own business that engaged with the Movement’s ambition to bolster its social media strategy and platforms.

After some planning and discussion, the Movement has narrowed the focus of this year’s Business Plan Challenge to a competition to test university student’s ability to draft a convincing, sustainable, and actionable business plan. Consequently, this document outlines the purpose, goals, objectives, and format of the Business Plan Challenge.
